Located between Altmühl and Waldhang, nestled in the beautiful landscape of the Naturpark (nature reserve) Altmühltal and in walking distance to the popular lake Kratzmühl-See, lies the campground Kratzmühle.
The campground offers 425 camp sites by the river, in the valley and on the terraces ascending the Jura mountain. We offer locations in the sun and the shade, forest locations and camp sites for young families ("Familienwiese", family lots) near the playground. The camp sites are partially hooked up to fresh water and sewage. Our campground features tent sites by the river or in the forest and has special sites for larger groups. Of course we also offer camp sites for caravans. Our campground caters to any requirements and needs you might have and during each season, you will find the ideal spot for your comfort and pleasure. Always close by: one of our five bathroom facilities.
Attractive Amenities
Our heated sanitary facilities are naturally equipped well-maintained toilets, washrooms with showers, washbasins with hot and cold water and single stalls for your hygiene needs. All our bathroom facilities are handicapped accessible. We also offer a special room for families with infants, containing a baby bath and a changing table. During your stay, you can rent personal bathrooms for yourself and your family, either for the duration of your visit or for singular days. You can use our sauna, dip pool and relaxation room. We provide facilities for cooking, doing the dishes and for your laundry needs. A gas bottle package that is available on location completes the extensive services our campground offers to its patrons.
